Join crafting friends from far and wide for a fun creative weekend at our In-Person Crafting Retreat in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia - OR - Craft in the comfort of your home from anywhere in Canada with our At-Home Retreat Box Option. Our In-person event takes place over two days in the spacious and bright hall at First Baptist Church, 1839 Hammonds Plains Road.  You can decide for yourself what fits your schedule best - if you can't come and stay over Friday night, that's OK - you can just do the full day Saturday and still get everything that's included.


You'll Be Crafting With:
We are so excited about this gorgeous new suite of product and all the possibilities.  We will be creating beautiful layered scenes with mountains, trees and rivers with your choice of over 20 different colour palates for various seasons.  Your retreat  kit will include the Light & Wonder Stamp Set with words and sentiments that convey celebrating Strength, Love, Light, Wonder and Magic, and the LIght & Wonder Layering Dies to create beautiful scenes. You will also receive a full package of the stunning Lights of Aurora Designer Series Paper with shimmering Aurora Borealis imagery that doubles as rivers and sparkling water too.  These are yours to keep.  You will also receive a supply of embellishments and other papers and envelopes to complete the projects.




FRIDAY 3-8PM
After you load in and get your crafting space all set up, grab a hot or cold beverage and a treat from the refreshment table and join us for some light crafting fun with our popular Pick & Choose Crafting Session and social get-to-know-you activities. This will be followed up with our fabulous "LUCKY HAND" card game with lots of fantastic prizes to be won! We will have light refreshment Friday evening as well.

If you're making a get-away weekend of it, you may wish to stay overnight in a nearby hotel or guest house and come back in the morning refreshed and ready for a full fun day. (Hotel stay is not included in your event fee. We will include a list of reservation phone numbers and locations of the most convenient places in your confirmation email). 


SATURDAY 9AM - 8PM
We will be starting bright an early with hot beverages and the unveiling of the Main Retreat Crafting Package. We will have a full day with lots of fully prepared crafting projects for you to make.  We will have table gifts, special treats, door prizes and prize patrol for everyone throughout the day.  At-Home attendees will find table gifts, pre-selected door prizes and prize patrol in their boxes too.

Register and pay in full for your retreat by SUNDAY AUGUST 17th to be entered into our draw for this fantastic prize.  With it's small footprint, ergonomic design and swing out arm that goes all the way to 17 inches, this is just the tool to have right at your own table for crops and retreats.  It cuts cardstock and DSP like butter, and scores straight and true as well. Measurement markings in inches, with clear halfs, quarters, eights and sixteenths.    




Your Event Fee Includes:

  • All crafting supplies needed to complete the projects, plus the Suite products mentioned above that you get to keep! (while supplies last - some substitutions may have to be made if certain items run out)
  • Your own 6 foot crafting table for the entire event. 
  • 3 rounds of Lucky Hand with a chance to win great prizes. 
  • Fun table gifts throughout the weekend!
  • Door prizes and prize patrol for everyone throughout the event.
  • Refreshments on Friday evening.
  • Soup & Sandwich Buffet lunch on Saturday.
  • Hot Dinner on Saturday.
  • Coffee, Tea, Water and snack station throughout the event.
  • Tool Stations (cutting, embossing, trimming) for you to use to complete your projects.

PAYMENT
Total retreat cost is $219 In person - $224 At-Home Box.  Your non-refundable $130 deposit is required at registration to secure your crafting product order. The balance of your fees is required no later than Sunday August 31st when registration closes and we prepare to order all the supplies. 

If you do not complete your final registration payment to attend the event, you will still receive your pre-paid crafting product (pick up in Bedford or Elmsdale area or pay $20 to have it shipped) but you will forfeit door prizes, prize patrol, table gifts and other event attendee perks.

In the event something comes up that you cannot attend after you have registered, you can either transfer your registration to someone else (taking payment from them and letting us know the change), or you can request that we make your retreat an At-Home Box shipped to your home address for free.
